About the Role:

The Associate Client Manager is the foundational role within the Client Management team, focused on learning TrueAccord’s platform, product suite, and client operational standards. You are an essential support partner, working under the guidance of Client Managers to ensure operational efficiency, data accuracy, and timely execution of day-to-day client needs. This role is a training ground for developing the data literacy, communication skills, and strategic thinking required to advance to a Client Manager position.

What You'll Do:

    • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of mainly passive clients, ensuring consistent delivery of TrueAccord’s services and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

    • Operational Support: Assist Client Managers in the day-to-day management of account portfolios, including tracking performance metrics and maintaining documentation.

    • Reporting & Data Accuracy: Prepare routine reports, dashboards, and meeting materials for core client check-ins, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

    • Issue Resolution: Act as the initial point of contact for routine client inquiries, working with the Client Manager to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal support teams to process requests and ensure client deliverables meet standard quality requirements.

    • Skill Development: Actively engage in training sessions, mentorship, and self-directed learning to build expertise in debt collection, product features, and client strategy.

Who You Are:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
    • Entry-level experience in Client Success, Customer Support, Operations, or a related field.

    • Experience in at least one of the following: Debt collections or Default Management.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with data entry and reporting.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to learn complex software tools and internal platforms quickly.

    • A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow into a more independent, client-facing role.

Remote Work, Travel Expectations, & Physical Requirements

This role supports a global, cross-functional business and operates primarily in a Remote-First environment. However, flexibility outside of standard business hours and occasional local or international travel may be necessary for global operations support, company meetings, training, offsites, and collaborative projects.

This position primarily involves computer-based work, requiring extended periods at a computer, participation in virtual meetings, and use of standard office technology. We will consider reasonable accommodations to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of the role.

80000 - 100000 USD a year

For U.S.-based hires, the overall base salary framework for this role currently spans $80,000 to $100,000 per year. The applicable base salary range for any individual hire depends on the geographic labor market associated with the employee’s primary work location along with other factors such as relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

Geographic labor markets are divided into "tiers" based upon a number of factors, including cost of living. Below, you'll find a few example cities representative of each tiers:

  • U.S. Geo Tier 2 (i.e. Austin, Denver, Phoenix)
