We are looking for a tech-savvy, adaptable generalist to serve as the strategic right hand to our General Counsel. In this role, you will be the operational engine embedded at the intersection of law, technology, and business operations. Your critical goal is to scale our legal function by eliminating manual chaos, optimizing our tech stack, and building workflows that multiply the team's overall impact across the company.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the Legal Front Door: Manage and triage incoming requests via our legal inbox and Jira tickets, ensuring the business gets swift, prioritized support.

  • Drive Tech & CLM Optimization: Act as the administrator for our legal tech stack, specifically building out new automated workflows and templates in Ironclad to keep us moving fast.

  • Manage the Contract Lifecycle: Draft and review standard commercial agreements (like NDAs, vendor, and client contracts) using pre-established playbooks and fallback clauses.

  • Build Playbooks & Guardrails: Develop and update internal legal playbooks, self-service guides, and FAQs that empower other departments to move quickly while maintaining proper risk controls.

  • Champion Operational Excellence: Maintain legal KPIs and dashboards (tracking contract turnaround times, legal spend, and SLAs) to help the team make data-driven decisions.

  • Support Corporate Governance: Handle state filings, maintain corporate records, and organize our internal digital knowledge base.

  • Execute Generalist Legal Support: Tackle a diverse range of delegated projects, including practical legal research, fact-finding, and drafting internal policies.

Who You Are:

  • An Experienced Legal Operator: You bring 5–7 years of experience in a legal environment, ideally within a high-growth corporate legal department. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Paralegal Certificate or Legal Operations certification (like CLOC) is a big plus.

  • Tech-Fluent: You love modern tools and are highly comfortable navigating Ironclad, Jira, Slack, and Google Workspace to drive efficiency.

  • A Master Prioritizer: You have a natural bias for action and an inherent sense of urgency. You can effortlessly separate true emergencies from routine tasks while managing risk responsibly.

  • A Problem Solver with High Ownership: You don't wait for direction when you spot a bottleneck or an error—you actively jump in, propose solutions, and drive them to completion.

  • An Empathetic Communicator: You translate legal concepts into practical business workflows and communicate seamlessly with stakeholders across Sales, Product, and Finance.

  • A Growth-Minded Professional: You possess unwavering integrity, handle sensitive corporate data with discretion, and are constantly looking for ways to elevate your own skills and the legal team's standards.
