About the Role
We’re looking for someone to lead our Product Operations team to grow and develop a team of operations leaders to manage our business operations and drive improvements to our systems. The operations teams will work closely with other teams to identify process improvements and help fill gaps with your know-how and expertise. With our growing array of loan products, you’ll learn nuances, set team strategy, and help build out new processes to eventually work with our engineering team to develop tools to automate and optimize the product.
Scratch is currently operating under a hybrid model in San Francisco, and partial in-person attendance is required for this role.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and motivate an awesome team of junior and senior operations leaders, ensuring quality delivery of their projects and coaching them to grow professionally
  • Manage operations, identity opportunities to improve processes, and lead team to action
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business impact; staffing them based on team member expertise and areas for development
  • Serving as an escalation point for team members by helping problem-solve and translating ambiguity
  • Building strong relationships with leadership across departments to keep a pulse on strategic priorities
  • Track team performance and provide regular feedback and evaluation

  • You have 7+ years of operations and people management experience
  • You have experience working in fast-paced environments
  • You approach management with a desire to help your reports to grow and learn
  • You have experience in the lending space, though this isn't required
