About the role

At Revolut, Operations means problem-solving at scale. Our team tackles the company’s toughest challenges with speed, precision, and creativity. They design systems that unlock efficiency and power global growth.

We're looking for a Head of Payments Systems to oversee the global payment architecture as we expand in the US. You'll stay on top of changes, quality of services, SLAs, and be the point of contact for Acquiring, Cards, and Core Payments teams.

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you'll use your expert knowledge of local regulations to work on high-impact initiatives, using insight to solve challenges, scale processes, and deliver better outcomes for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Piloting technical foundations of payments outsourced to the group TechCo and other vendors
• Liaising between local regulators and product teams
• Building and improving services for customers in the US
• Driving payment migrations (cards, acquiring, etc.)
• Being the point of contact for payment providers
• Evaluating opportunities of new schemes
• Building end-to-end lifecycle of payment systems

What you'll need

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as engineering
• 7+ years of experience in payments
• Expertise in the payments landscape, including deep knowledge of providers, regulators, etc.
• An understanding of related regulations (e.g., ISO 20022)
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

• Executive and board-level interaction experience
• Solid connections across industry stakeholder groups
• Relevant financial services experience

Compensation range

• US: $180,000 - $200,000 gross annually*
• Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
