About the role
The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.
We're looking for a Regulatory Legal Counsel to work with the Head of Legal to develop and execute proactive strategies that impact our business. You'll be involved in decision-making on critical issues, providing expert legal advice and guidance to support our growth in the market.

What you'll be doing
- Supporting legal tasks, including regulatory filings, corporate governance, and business development
- Implementing new scalable processes and managing operational risk for the Legal department
- Providing regulatory legal advice and guidance regarding the regulatory environment in Brazil
- Staying up-to-date on legal developments, interpreting regulations, and providing clear and actionable advice to ensure compliance
- Advising on complex risks associated with regulations, identifying and assessing potential legal risks, developing mitigation strategies, and providing expert guidance to stakeholders
- Drafting and amending customer-facing documentation (terms and conditions, product disclosures, policies, regulatory disclosures, promotions)
- Monitoring, interpreting, and proactively handling regulatory developments and guideline changes
- Providing legal analysis and advice on financial regulations, and supporting regulatory license variations and new applications
- Supporting product teams with new product initiatives across payments, investment, FX, crypto, and banking
- Reviewing and assisting with drafting corporate documents, commercial agreements, affiliate agreements, and third-party agreements
What you'll need
- 8+ years of legal experience
- 5+ years at a fintech, traditional bank, or law firm
- Valid registration with the Brazilian Bar Association
- In-house experience within a regulated company
- Broad legal knowledge and a generalist profile within finance space
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
- Open and clear communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously, knowing when to ask the team for help
- A high degree of independence, initiative, and decisiveness, with the ability to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
- Great organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to manage multiple projects at once to meet deadlines
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves, learn fast, and take responsibility
