About the role

We're looking for a Senior Process Operations Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our Legal department's operations. Reporting directly to the Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel, you'll directly impact our ability to scale, innovate, and provide world-class legal services to the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Operations Managers and Data Analysts to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions and efficiencies for our Legal department
  • Designing and optimising legal processes, including contract management, litigation, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance, ensuring they're efficient, scalable, and data-driven
  • Implementing and managing legal technology solutions to automate workflows, improve collaboration, and enhance overall efficiency
  • Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track Legal's performance, providing actionable insights to leadership
  • Managing Legal's budget and external spend, working with external counsel and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of advice
  • Overseeing key legal projects across the company to ensure successful project management

What you'll need

  • 7+ years of experience in legal operations, law firm management, or a similar operations role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Jira
  • Experience leading and developing a team of operations or analytics professionals
  • A proven track record of using a data-driven approach to solve complex business problems and improve operational efficiency
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional projects
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus with stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a high-performance environment
  • The ability to break down complex problems into smaller, achievable tasks

Nice to have

  • A law degree (JD) or a master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with legal technology solutions, such as e-billing, contract management, and matter management systems
  • Experience in a high-growth tech company or highly regulated industry (e.g., finance, fintech)
