About the role

Our Technology team builds the systems and experiences that keep Revolut moving. From the infrastructure behind our innovative app to the features used by millions of people around the world, they bring sharp thinking, speed, and a focus on meaningful impact to everything they do.

We are looking for a Technology Manager to support our local team in Japan, with proven expertise in data, automation, and modern technology solutions, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of diverse initiatives to drive Revolut’s success in Japan

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating on large-scale change and transformation programmes
• Representing the Revolut Japan Technology team in wider programme initiatives
• Taking ownership of allocated tasks and providing input to programme teams
• Preparing reports and updating stakeholders
• Analysing system incidents and preparing reports
• Automating daily tasks such as reporting or alerting
• Assessing initiatives that require relevant IT changes
• Identifying dependencies, potential impacts, and risks
• Ensuring initiatives are properly analysed, tested, and managed
• Building and optimising scalable processes to support business growth
• Maintaining and creating new dashboards to track metrics and visualise insights
• Leading and executing projects end to end

What you'll need

• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in retail banking
• A solid understanding of Revolut’s products and services
• An excellent understanding of technology within financial services organisations
• Demonstrated experience in technology and change delivery within a leading global consultancy
• Proven proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or C++
• Experience in building and scaling technology functions within financial services or fintech
• Fluency in english

Nice to have

• Demonstrated experience in technology and change delivery within a global consultancy
• Experience in building and scaling technology functions within financial services or fintech
• Relevant certifications such as CCMP, ITIL, or ITSM
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
