Our Branch Regulatory Reporting Manager role combines data management and analysis to create our regulatory reports. You’ll be compiling, reviewing, and managing all types of regulatory reports for our branch network, so there’s always something to learn.

What you’ll be doing
- Producing and reviewing regulatory reports on our branches, including statistical returns and other local regulatory requirements prior to submission
- Supporting in the branch launch, defining and implementing the submission process for necessary regulatory reports
- Assessing, developing, and maintaining proper controls, robust documentation, and change management approaches for reporting areas (automated and manual)
- Communicating issues with appropriate data owners
- Monitoring issues to ensure timely and appropriate resolutions are achieved
- Staying current on new and evolving regulatory reporting requirements, assessing impact, and ensuring compliance for accurate reporting
- Working closely to ensure accurate reporting and decision support is consistent in all future regulatory applications
- Reviewing and responding to regulatory inquiries
What you'll need
- Either 8+ years of experience working in a reporting function for a bank (or similar regulated entity), or 4+ years of experience as a consultant in a Big 4 (or similar environment) in regulatory reporting
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- The ability to make sense of regulations and develop processes and frameworks to compile new reports and enhance existing ones
- To be a self-starter and independent worker
- To be highly self-motivated
- Great organisation skills to plan and deliver to tight deadlines with close attention to detail
- Solid data analysis skills
- Experience working with financial regulators
Nice to have
- Project management skills
- Proficiency in SQL
- Expertise working with IFRS accounting standards
- Knowledge of software or IT platform change initiatives (Reportware, Adenza, etc.)
