About Revolut

People deserve more from their money. More visibility, more control, and more freedom. Since 2015, Revolut has been on a mission to deliver just that. Our powerhouse of products — including spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more — help our 50+ million customers get more from their money every day.

As we continue our lightning-fast growth,‌ 2 things are essential to our success: our people and our culture. In recognition of our outstanding employee experience, we've been certified as a Great Place to Work™. So far, we have 10,000+ people working around the world, from our offices and remotely, to help us achieve our mission. And we're looking for more brilliant people. People who love building great products, redefining success, and turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution.

About the role

Compliance is a key team that ensures Revolut’s products and processes meet the regulatory requirements and translate this into the best customer outcomes. They’ve got an outstanding ability to find solutions and carry out testing in a purely digital environment. Those data-driven experts know that better people and machines are the most effective way of managing conduct risk.

With our credit products expanding, so is our Compliance team. We’re looking for a Credit Compliance Manager to implement the regulatory framework around credit services, and who can see what’s needed to keep our consumer protection practise in compliance. You'll be working on cutting-edge financial features, and advising our business on compliance requirements and related controls. Be warned, this is a very hands-on role.

Up for the challenge? Let’s get in touch.

What you’ll be doing

  • Advising the business on compliance requirements for credit products and related controls for the FOS basis operating business across EEA
  • Creating, assessing, and implementing policies from scratch
  • Review, feedback and compliance approval of credit product initiatives
  • Managing the training programme
  • Reviewing and approval of marketing communications
  • Reviewing and analysing complaints and work with the business to drive better customer outcomes
  • Monitoring compliance and Horizon Scanning for the countries we work in
  • Reading large pieces of regulation and breaking down what's needed to be done and how it applies to the business model, mapping them to controls and policies in place, as well as remediating identified gaps
  • Working closely with Risk Managers on resolution of reported compliance risks and incidents
  • Identifying regulatory issues proactively and recommending remedies to promote compliance
  • Liaising with key internal (e.g. Legal, Risk, BSA/AML officer, etc.) and external (e.g. regulators, advisors, partners, etc.) stakeholders as required

What you'll need

  • Experience in regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator
  • Knowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis, policy creation, and implementation
  • Expertise with credit products and FOS business model
  • The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
  • A solid understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
  • The skills to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and regulators
  • Multi-tasking abilities with close attention to detail
  • To demonstrate sound judgement
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience in regulatory requirements on credit, and a willingness and passion to develop knowledge and expertise in the other areas (e.g. payments, deposit, privacy, etc.)
