About the role

Encouraged to break new frontiers, Business Development at Revolut is at the front line of diversifying and increasing profit for the company. These teams work across industries and areas to present various creative options for new revenue streams.

Responsible for every pitch from inception to delivery, they also ensure that all new ideas are viable from a commercial perspective. Though individual specialists are spread across the business, supporting different teams in their growth, they still come together as a function to align on key areas as often as necessary.

We’re looking for Business Development Manager to work within the Global Business team who owns and drives strategic business development initiatives for our various products. They manage Revolut’s open banking partnerships and services, merging local schemes, aggregators, and other financial institutions into a winning experience of domestic and cross-border payments merging with our borderless accounts.

You'll use your commercial and product experience to get a detailed understanding of every aspect of our features, while relentlessly pursuing new opportunities and looking for ways to improve existing products’ profitability.

What you’ll be doing

  • Launching new, market-changing open banking products in AIS, PIS, sVRP, and cVRP domains
  • Conducting sophisticated research and analysis on market trends, competition, customer behaviours, and Revolut’s positioning to yield key insights
  • Driving new product roadmaps in open banking by understanding ways to scale, generating new revenue streams, and optimising payments pricing and costs
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to implement new product strategies and continue Revolut’s hyper-growth
  • Ensuring effective working relationships with relevant partners, third parties, and internal stakeholders
  • Managing partnerships and developing tailored proposals that align with partner needs and Revolut's goals, ensuring seamless integration and maximised value
  • Driving the adoption and integration of Revolut's cross-border digital payment and connectivity

What you'll need

  • 3–5 years of experience
  • A background in open banking, preferably in a high-growth, fast-paced payment service provider
  • To be an analytical thinker who starts with data
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Experience working in a dynamic, global environment, managing relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Fluency in English with impeccable communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills
  • Natural curiosity and a will to make an impact
