About the role
Our Risk team sits at the very core of Revolut. Those special agents work across functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure that the business is on safe footing. People in the Risk team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives, from App Technology, through Treasury and Finance, to Customer Support.
We’re looking for a SOX Controller to sit within the first line of defence at Revolut. An analytic mind to develop sustainable growth strategies that align with operational risk frameworks. Someone who’ll take our risk management procedures to the next level.

What you’ll be doing
- Developing and Establishing Internal Controls Framework
- Designing and implementing an internal controls framework to address key risks.
- Ensuring the controls’ exhaustiveness and alignment with risk coverage.
- Collaborating with auditors to determine which controls should be independently audited as part of an annual process.
- Documenting control assessments, evaluating deficiencies, and proposing remediation methods and workflows.
- Aligning with SOX / COSO Requirements
- Reviewing global SOX and COSO requirements and implementing non-conflicting policies locally.
- Supporting SOX 302 and 404 Certification
- Implementing systems and workflows to support SOX 302 and 404 certifications for U.S. executives.
- Establishing Local SOX Training and Compliance
- Creating and managing local SOX training programs and compliance requirements.
- Developing mandatory training classes and attestations.
- Optimizing SOX, Finance, Risk, and IA Controls
- Avoiding duplications and excessive complexity by integrating SOX controls with existing finance, risk, and internal audit controls.
- Reviewing current processes and adapting them to SOX compliance requirements.
- Leading SOC 1 and SOC 2 Audits
- Acting as the subject matter expert (SME) and lead responsible for SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits in the U.S.
- Overseeing and managing the audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
What you'll need
- Understanding and experience of SOX
- Keen interest in risk and controls assessment
- Significant experience in control testing and documentation
- You love solving problems
Compensation range
- New York: $114,300 - $159,000 gross annually*
- US: $114,300 - $159,000 gross annually*
- Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process
*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
