About the role
The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut and it’s a very important part of the business. Members of the team provide front-line guidance and support to all areas of the company, contributing to decisions that impact Revolut’s growth every day.
We’re looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Paralegal to provide day-to-day, strategic advice on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters. What you’ll be doing
- Supporting Revolut’s Regulatory Legal team in Europe
- Carrying out initial assessments on payments/financial regulatory matters
- Reviewing our products in terms of regulatory compliance
- Drafting customer T&Cs
- Coordinating legal counsel's advice for multi-jurisdictional matters
- Leading document management and other administrative tasks
- Capturing know-how and assisting with knowledge sharing
- Implementing and optimising scalable processes
What you'll need
- A law degree
- Fluency in English with impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional motivation to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- An interest in payments and financial regulation
- Enthusiasm and willingness to roll up your sleeves, learn fast, and take responsibility
- The ability to manage large amounts of documents and use technological solutions to make the Legal team’s processes and functions more efficient
- A high level of independence, initiative, and decisiveness
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at once
- The ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Experience working as a Paralegal in a financial regulatory capacity either at a law firm or in-house
- Fintech experience
- Excellent analytical skills and an ability to demonstrate sound legal and business judgement, even in ambiguous situations
