About the role

The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut and it’s a very important part of the business. Members of the team provide front-line guidance and support to all areas of the company, contributing to decisions that impact Revolut’s growth every day.

We’re looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Paralegal to provide day-to-day, strategic advice on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters. What you’ll be doing

• Supporting Revolut’s Regulatory Legal team in Europe
• Carrying out initial assessments on payments/financial regulatory matters
• Reviewing our products in terms of regulatory compliance
• Drafting customer T&Cs
• Coordinating legal counsel's advice for multi-jurisdictional matters
• Leading document management and other administrative tasks
• Capturing know-how and assisting with knowledge sharing
• Implementing and optimising scalable processes

What you'll need

• A law degree
• Fluency in English with impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional motivation to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• An interest in payments and financial regulation
• Enthusiasm and willingness to roll up your sleeves, learn fast, and take responsibility
• The ability to manage large amounts of documents and use technological solutions to make the Legal team’s processes and functions more efficient
• A high level of independence, initiative, and decisiveness
• Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at once
• The ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional teams

Nice to have

• Experience working as a Paralegal in a financial regulatory capacity either at a law firm or in-house
• Fintech experience
• Excellent analytical skills and an ability to demonstrate sound legal and business judgement, even in ambiguous situations
