In Singapore, Qapita's CMS-licensed subsidiary is regulated by the MAS, with a focus on facilitating private market transactions for some of the fastest-growing companies globally. With strong growth momentum, we are seeking a dynamic self-starter to join our Secondaries & Liquidity Programs team and help expand our reach across the region.
JOB OVERVIEW
Spearhead investor outreach for our Private Markets business, cultivating relationships with family offices, institutional investors and wealth intermediaries across Singapore and Southeast Asia. Combines investor origination with product positioning at the heart of Qapita's regional growth.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Investor Origination & Relationship Management
- Identify and cultivate HNI, family office, and institutional investor relationships across Singapore and South East Asia (SEA)
- Own the BD pipeline end-to-end; serve as primary contact for allocated accounts
- Engage sensitively with local family office principals and multigenerational wealth structures
Product Positioning & Investor Education
- Articulate Qapita's private secondaries proposition to sophisticated investors
- Lead investor meetings, engagement and due diligence sessions
Market Intelligence & Compliance
- Track investor sentiment, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments
- Ensure MAS regulatory compliance; manage KYC/AML and investor onboarding
- Represent Qapita at industry events and conferences
WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE
- 5–8 years in financial services with private markets exposure (PE, credit, alternatives, or secondaries)
- Track record in investor relations, BD, or institutional / wealth channel sales
- Existing network with family offices, private banks, or institutional investors in Singapore / SEA
- Good understanding of secondary market mechanics, LP/GP dynamics, and fund structures
- Confident to engage with family office principals and C-suite level; good communication skills
- Bachelor's in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
Preferred
- Candidates based in Singapore
- CMFAS Module 1B and CM-SIP cleared (or eligible for rapid registration)
- Proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, or other regional languages
- CFA / CAIA charter holder or in progress
- Prior experience in a securities business, placement agent, private bank, or VC/PE fund
(This role is subject to MAS fit and proper requirements (SFA). The candidate must be (or be eligible to be) registered as a Registered Representative under the CMS licence. Preference given to candidates who have cleared CMFAS Module 1B and CM-SIP.)
