Senior Product Manager, Recommendations (IC3/IC4)

The position

At point.me, we’re on a mission to increase the spending power for millions of people by turning loyalty points into powerful currency. To achieve this vision, we are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our Recommendations product. In this role, you will leverage a deep understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and data-driven insights to help customers earn and redeem more points.

What You'll Do

  • Enhance Recommendation Features: Own and continuously improve our recommendations to customers through leveraging industry trend insights. Identify and prioritize opportunities to introduce innovative product features and new revenue streams within the search experience.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics to measure success and inform feature requirements.
  • Product Strategy and Execution: Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from defining the vision and roadmap to executing prototypes and measuring success at scale.
  • Launch 0-1 Features: Develop and scale in-app and email alerts to engage users effectively and improve retention rates.
  • Optimize Features: Develop and execute an A/B testing strategy to optimize features, validate hypotheses, and deliver measurable impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups, and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide transparency and foster collaboration across teams through excellent communication skills, influencing without authority in complex stakeholder environments.

Who You Are

  • Financial Technology Product: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering impactful product features, preferable in financial technology or with a consumer facing technology product.
  • Data-Driven: 2+ years of experience with data analysis, capable of deriving actionable insights and driving data-informed decision-making. You have the ability to use data to monitor metrics, define success, and identify gaps.
  • Entrepreneurial: Proven experience working with tech teams in high-growth startup environments, demonstrating extreme ownership and prioritizing ruthlessly to achieve organizational goals.
  • Problem Solver: Strong ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development and measure success throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Passionately Curious: You are deeply passionate about delivering exceptional customer recommendations through industry insights, and are deeply curious about how this functionality fits into the broader product roadmap.
  • Collaborative Leader: You bring a collaborative mindset, capable of working cross-functionally and influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic: You have a strategic approach to defining vision and success while executing with precision at scale.

This is a management role, with commensurate responsibility and compensation. The anticipated salary range is $130,000 to $180,000. Specific compensation will be determined based on your level of experience.

Given the nature of our business, we anticipate that all team members will be traveling from time to time, including company trips and off-sites, or meeting with strategic partners. As such, being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is a condition of employment at point.me. We’ll ask you to send us a copy of your vaccination card in advance of your first day.
