The position

Are you passionate about driving user growth and retention in a fast-paced, startup environment? Do you excel at leading strategic, cross-functional initiatives that directly impact revenue? If so, you might be the perfect fit as our Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager!

We’re looking for an experienced lifecycle marketing expert to elevate our customer acquisition and retention efforts. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting and executing data-driven lifecycle and customer marketing strategies that engage both prospects and customers throughout our funnel. You will work closely with a variety of GTM and marketing stakeholders, including content, product and customer success, to ensure a seamless and impactful user journey.

This role reports directly to the Head of Growth, where you will collaborate to set strategy and drive impactful projects and campaigns to support growth targets.

Your work will directly impact the way rewards points are maximized and help people travel better.

This is a career-level role, with commensurate responsibility and compensation. The anticipated salary range is $99,000 to $115,000 in addition to meaningful equity. Specific compensation will be determined based on your level of experience. We are a fully distributed team.

What You'll Do

Ultimately, you’ll be assisting an innovative travel start-up in reaching global scale by identifying opportunities to expand and retain our customer base . This role requires diligent organization and cross-team communication; we expect you to be a careful steward of the business and treat it as your own.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive lifecycle marketing plan that drives conversion, revenue, and mitigates churn by mapping out strategic customer journeys and key touchpoints.
  • Create and refine automations and one-off campaigns across email, push, SMS, and other CRM channels to increase conversion, utilization, retention, and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Utilize data-driven insights and A/B testing to optimize segmentation, content personalization, and ensure the right content reaches the right users at the right time.
  • Analyze campaign performance data meticulously to identify trends and opportunities, turning insights into actionable strategies to improve business impact.
  • Establish and track key lifecycle marketing metrics, working with the BI team to deliver real-time reporting on campaign performance, free-to-paid conversion, and funnel performance.
  • Partner closely with Content, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to gain a nuanced, data-informed understanding of our users’ preferences and behaviors, ensuring every communication touchpoint is impactful and memorable.
  • Oversee the health and efficacy of marketing channels, including email, and eventually SMS, focusing on deliverability, data quality, and user experience.
  • Serve as the central hub for coordinating lifecycle communications across the organization, advising on content strategy, audience segmentation, and optimal timing to maximize impact.
  • Drive improvements in our marketing technology infrastructure and data practices in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams, enhancing automation, integration, and personalization capabilities.
  • Play a key role in enhancing our website and digital touchpoints to maximize user experience, acquisition, and conversion effectiveness.

What You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing or Growth, with a proven track record in consumer-focused roles within startups or established tech environments.
  • Deep technical proficiency in email marketing and a broad understanding of marketing technology stacks.
  • Proven experience building email campaigns end-to-end with an understanding of email & mobile marketing (push, in-app & SMS) best practices
  • A versatile marketer with hands-on experience in various automation tools, analytics platforms, and data integration solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing across all levels of the organization, from the co-founders to technical teams and creative talent.
  • A data-driven mindset paired with creative storytelling abilities, adept at extracting insights from analytics to craft compelling narratives across email, SMS, and web content.
  • An independent, high-energy professional who thrives in a fast-paced, remote working environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing metrics-driven strategies, building insightful dashboards, and making data-informed decisions to drive significant business growth.
  • Performance-oriented, with an interest in taking ownership of situations and a desire to roll up your sleeves.
  • A proven history of outstanding performance in startup environments.
