The position

You’ll be helping drive an innovative travel start-up in reaching global scale by identifying and delivering on opportunities to grow the business. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a solid background in analytics, and the ability to drive multiple initiatives across the organization - all the way from idea to release. As the Sr. Director of Product, you will be responsible for developing and executing a program that drives results against our company’s strategic objectives, while also managing and growing the teams within the Product organization. You will work closely with Design, Engineering, Customer Success, and other key stakeholders throughout the entire product development process.

This role reports directly to the VP of Product & Engineering where you will collaborate to set product strategy and direction across point.me’s portfolio.

Your work will directly impact the way rewards points are maximized and help people travel better.

This is a leadership role, with commensurate responsibility and compensation. The anticipated salary range is $204,000 to $250,000 in addition to significant equity. Specific compensation will be determined based on your level of experience. We are a fully remote and distributed team, but you must be eligible to work in United States.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership and Planning
    • Partner with leadership to define KPI’s and metrics for our products, services, and broader organization
    • Develop and evolve a Lean product roadmap that aligns strategically with the company’s overall objectives
    • Advise leadership through analysis on competitive and technology trends, user feedback, and product performance metrics
    • Use data-driven insights and collaborate with industry experts to identify and define future product iterations, experience optimizations, and feature enhancements
  • Team Management and Development
    • Oversee and grow the product team organization, while developing their capabilities and maintaining a high bar of quality
    • Partner with others to deliver clear communication and alignment throughout the delivery organization
    • Track and drive toward measurable outcomes through repeated build-test-learn product development processes
  • External Engagement and Representation
    • Represent the product organization when interacting with end users, customers, and partners such as major airlines, banks, and others

What You Have

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in people management or leadership
  • Proven track record of developing and executing product roadmaps to achieve company objectives
  • Strategic-thinking with the ability to align customer needs with technology solutions using a variety of data and insights
  • Performance-oriented, with experience taking ownership of situations and working directly with your teams
  • Experience working within cross-functional environments while advocating for the product vision
  • Strong interest or knowledge of travel industry, airline industry and/or credit card loyalty programs
  • Comfort with change - we’re a growing start-up and we want you to grow with us

    Bonus points for:
  • Experience in data-centric products
