About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Assistant Controller to support the company’s global accounting and financial reporting activities. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process, consolidated financial reporting, and compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. This position is a maternity leave replacement.

The Assistant Controller role is broad in scope and provides exposure to a wide range of accounting and finance activities, including revenue recognition, cash flow analysis, investor reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. The position involves close work with FP&A, external auditors, and tax advisors, offering an opportunity to develop deep expertise in a complex, global environment while contributing to both ongoing operations and finance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly financial close process, including account reconciliations, journal entry reviews, and other ad-hoc requirements.
  • Perform revenue recognition analysis in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Key role end-to-end Order to Cash (O2C) process, including customer billing and invoicing.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements under US GAAP, as well as statutory financial and tax reports in accordance with applicable local GAAP requirements.
  • Produce monthly cash flow analyses, including detailed tracking of cash inflows, outflows, and cash burn.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports to investors.
  • Support accounting and finance initiatives, including ad-hoc analyses and special projects, as needed.

Requirements

  • CPA with a minimum of 2 years experience in one of the big 4 Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • High level of English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with NetSuite and financial integrations – an advantage
  • Education: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
