About the position

We’re looking for a talented and experienced QA Engineer to join the Core Client team at Personetics. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our Client Engage product, an essential component of Personetics’ platform, which delivers real-time, personalized digital banking experiences to leading financial institutions worldwide.

You’ll be working at the heart of our technology, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers to test complex, configurable UI components, automation flows, and system integrations across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on role that involves both manual and automated testing, as well as taking an active part in process improvement and quality ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Own the QA process end-to-end for the Client Engage platform, including both manual and automated testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Playwright-based E2E and functional test suites.
  • Validate UI components and interaction flows across web and mobile platforms (e.g., React,React Native, Swift, Kotlin).
  • Define and execute regression, sanity, and exploratory tests as part of sprint workflows.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design behavior, and accessibility compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers throughout feature design and implementation.
  • Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability of issues using tools like YouTrack, Jira, or similar.
  • Contribute to QA tooling, infrastructure, and test environment configuration.
  • Advocate for quality across the team and participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a hands-on QA role, preferably in a frontend-heavy environment.
  • Strong experience with Playwright (for both functional and end-to-end testing).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and understanding of how frontend applications are structured.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and test design best practices.
  • Experience with issue tracking systems such as YouTrack, Jira, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Clear communicator and effective collaborator across engineering and product teams.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying risks or suggesting improvements.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience testing complex widget/component-based systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
  • Understanding of configurable and modular test environments.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional teams.
  • Accessibility Testing: Experience with accessibility standards and testing tools, including VoiceOver, TalkBack, JAWS, and NVDA
