PayRange is a rapidly growing tech company based in Portland, Oregon. We pride ourselves on our innovative products, vibrant company culture, and our dedication to customer satisfaction. As we scale, we’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our sales team and help drive growth.

Position Overview:

As an Account Executive and member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving PayRange’s growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities. You will own the full sales cycle and work strategically with cross-functional teams to accelerate opportunities, and for consistently hitting and exceeding sales targets.

PayRange is powering mobile commerce on traditionally “dumb” machines such as vending, laundry, amusement, car washes, and more. The company developed a low-cost, clever solution that is nothing short of ingenious! The patented approach leverages the user’s smartphone and network connectivity eliminating the need to connect the machine to a network enabling rapid upgrades of existing machines.

Location:

We have an office in Cascade Station in Portland (near Ikea and the Portland Airport). This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, and in-person only (no remote work). The office is on the Max line.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to potential customers, conduct in-depth discovery calls and solution-based selling, aligning PayRange’s products with the unique needs of each prospect.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities to meet and exceed targets. Proactively identify, qualify, and close high-value accounts, driving significant revenue growth.
  • Lead efforts in prospecting, cold-calling, and establishing relationships with key decision-makers. Utilize a combination of outbound outreach, strategic networking, and market research to identify opportunities.
  • Drive end-to-end sales processes including preparing presentations, demos, proposal development, negotiation, close of sale. Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, customer success, and product) to align ecosystem solutions for prospects.
  • Own sales forecast, pipeline management, and reporting across book of business. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the CRM system, ensuring efficient sales tracking.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and satisfaction post-sale. Serve as a point of escalation for high-priority accounts.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to position PayRange effectively and develop strategies to win in a competitive market.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle sales executive role prospecting, negotiating, and closing high-value deals role with a proven track record of successfully selling SaaS or technology solutions.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build long-term relationships with C-suite and senior-level decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience with value-based selling and tailoring solutions to meet the specific needs of diverse customer segments.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive while working cross-functionally to drive business results.
  • Experience in territory management and working in a startup or rapidly growing environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

  • Highly organized with a disciplined approach to managing multiple opportunities and generating pipeline simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated success in working collaboratively with teams across the organization.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
