Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Manager to help support the financial planning and analysis team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial management principles and a proven track record of supporting process improvements. You will play a key role in helping to support the development & implementation of the company's financial strategy and providing insights to support decision-making across all levels of the organization.

This position is remote, but it's essential that candidates reside within 30 miles of the Metro Boston area. The role may occasionally require in-person meetups and travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and analyze financial data, creating accurate forecasts and models for future financial planning. Assists in forecasting and budgeting process as it relates to Revenue and COGS
  • Investigate variances to budget and forecast and work with business leaders to understand the impact on future rounds of forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, providing insights into business trends, variances, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
  • Support the monthly operating review and quarterly board meeting material preparation.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial results, identifying key drivers and opportunities for cost optimization or revenue enhancement.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis to drive profitability, operational improvements, and overall business performance.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Accounting to find the most efficient reporting capabilities.
  • Assist in the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plans, and modeling tools.
  • Find opportunities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of recurring financial analysis.
  • Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement and implementation of the best reporting practices.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw data-driven conclusions.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Bachelors or better in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of related experience in an FP&A role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw data-driven conclusions.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The base salary range for this position is budgeted between $99,310.50- $120,750 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
