As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing the ideal backend system architecture, addressing customer pain points, and contributing to the overall success of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

System Architecture:

• Develop an ideal backend system architecture to solve problems efficiently.

• Create strategic plans to achieve the long-term vision while delivering shorter-term solutions that provide immediate value to our customers.

Customer Interaction:

• Engage with customers to understand their pain points.

• Collaborate on brainstorming sessions to devise innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience

Critical Thinking:

• Apply critical thinking to problem-solving, starting from the ground up.

• Challenge existing solutions and propose novel approaches free from bias.

What We're Seeking:

Must-Have:

• 7+ years of relevant professional full-time experience building backend systems for Senior roles.

• Proactive self-starter capable of independently solving problems.

• Write clean and maintainable code using Python, Django, PostGreSQL / any relevant backend stack

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the backend system

• Optimize the performance of the backend services (GCP , DBT)
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Some exposure to FrontEnd (React, basic familiarity with a JS library + willingness to learn)

• Eagerness to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement

• Natural curiosity and a drive to find creative solutions to complex problems
