Position Overview

Joining Jiko’s Product team as Business Analyst, you will support the integration of Jiko’s products into client and partner systems while contributing to the development and execution of Jiko’s integration & reporting roadmap.

This role reports to the Chief Product Officer. To be successful, you will collaborate with a talented team of product and engineering colleagues. In this role, you will become an expert in the Jiko application while developing your career within Jiko’s product management team.

What you will be doing

Working directly with the Chief Product Officer, you will serve as the critical bridge between Jiko’s products, our engineering team, and the customers' integration teams, ensuring a smooth and successful integration process.

This involves the following activities:

  • Continuously improve our API documentation to better guide customers, based on their common questions. Including use-case driven examples with Postman examples.
  • Assist customers and partners in identifying the most suitable APIs and other integration options to support their functional requirements.
  • Serve as a point of expertise to address their integration-related inquiries and proactively resolve potential customer issues, working closely with Jiko’s engineering team.
  • Influence the evolution of the product roadmap based on customer feedback. And contribute to the design of product improvements.
  • Monitor the progress of product changes, liaising with product managers to address potential questions and facilitate the swift resolution of any roadblocks.
  • Conduct acceptance tests to validate that changes meet the defined requirements and deliver the intended user experience.
  • Coordinate with customers and partners to provide updates on new product integration features.

What experience you should have

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally within a technology-driven or financial services environment (experience in banking or payments is a significant plus).
  • Proven experience in mapping data fields between disparate systems, understanding data transformations. No understanding of SQL or databases is necessary.
  • Strong experience in REST APIs, JSON and tools like Postman, to present API endpoints, test and validate requests.
  • High attention to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills to triage and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Proactive follow up on customer requests.
  • Passionate about customer experience, with deep empathy for end users.
