The role

We are seeking a Communications Executive to join our Marketing, Brand & Comms Group. This role is an opportunity for early career communications professionals to develop their knowledge and skills across the communications discipline - with a specific focus on social media.

Based in our London office, you will be working closely with the Comms team to support integrated brand and communication strategies.

You will help manage our global corporate social platforms (primarily LinkedIn and Twitter), which will involve content ideation, planning and publishing, community management and liaising with customer support. You will also assist with issues management and the development of strategies for campaigns/projects. You’ll be responsible for reporting and tracking using a variety of tools including media monitoring, Google analytics and social media platforms.

This role will report to our Global Head of PR and will involve close collaboration with the Social Media Lead for our Small Business audiences.

  • You’ll be passionate about ideating, creating and producing content that resonates and adds value, working with internal and external resources.
  • You’ll understand the importance of protecting and enhancing a brand's reputation via social media, through the careful management of issues and crisis communications.
  • You’ll enjoy data gathering and interpreting it to help inform future decisions, including reporting on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
  • You’ll have an eye for storytelling, turning complex and technical information into something that can easily be absorbed on a social platform.

What excites us

You don’t need to have experience in the payments or financial world. Rather, you’ll be passionate about marketing communications and a fast learner with an interest in disruptive technologies that are helping to create a better world for businesses.

  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English), attention to detail, strong project management skills, and creativity.
  • Experience: Some experience in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Personal qualities: strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment (virtually and office-based), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
