Job Description:
As an early member of the underwriting team, you will play a pivotal role in utilizing public and proprietary data and methodologies to price tracks directly impacting the lives of artists, as well as influencing all aspects of Duetti's tracks investment portfolio.
As an Underwriting Analyst, you will be tasked with pricing tracks for investment decisions, collaborating with sales and finance teams. You will also work closely on evolving Duetti’s underwriting products, methodologies and polices with guidance from senior team members and partnering with our data scientists and leadership.
We are looking for underwriters and investment analysts who like to sit at the center of investment decision making. Someone interested in learning how to quantitatively analyze and value assets in the music industry, who is not afraid to come up with new ideas. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a great sense of urgency for high priority deliverables.Understanding probability, statistics, net present value and discounted cash flow is a must.Previous experience in the music industry is a plus.

You will:
- Perform quantitative analysis to price and invest in music industry assets on a dailyBasis.
- Assist in developing and implementing risk assessment models, methodologies and policies under the guidance of senior team members and leadership.
- Prepare and present performance and risk analysis reports to inform investmentdecisions and leadership.
- Identify and implement process improvements to scale and standardize track pricing methodologies and policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify data points required for quantitative analysisand investment decisions.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support business decision-making.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience as an investment analyst, quantitative analyst, risk analyst, or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of net present value, discounted cash flow, probability and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and risk assessment techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze complex cashflow related data and trends in a clear and concise manner.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- A love for music and culture, and a desire to be at the forefront of new business models for artists is a plus.
