Cowbell Cyber is hiring an Account Executive, Renewal to join our Sales team.

The Account Executive, Renewal will manage a growing book of renewal business within their region. They will nurture relationships with agents and brokers to ensure Cowbell remains their number one option for clients. They are able to identify and overcome obstacles and challenges, identify opportunities for further growth, and create awareness of Cowbell’s key strategic advantages.

What you will do:

Nurture and maintain relationships with agents and brokers trading with Cowbell, working with agents from small independent retail agencies to large national brokerages.

  • Develop a strategy for proactively ensuring renewal business remains with Cowbell.
  • Become a cyber expert, validating our partner agencies’ trust in Cowbell.
  • Be a first point of contact, capable of communicating Cowbell’s value proposition to key stakeholders, for all levels of partner agency personnel that may handle renewals.
  • Meet and manage weekly, monthly and annual activity metrics.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team, have fun, grow, learn, and teach the company along the way.
  • Be a point of accountability for retention success.

What Cowbell needs from you:

  • 2+ years of insurance experience in an account management or business development function, preferably with a wholesaler or carrier.
  • Cyber, Tech E&O and Professional lines insurance experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of nurturing and expanding existing relationships.
  • Prior experience and success in account retention.
  • Cyber knowledge or willingness to learn quickly.
