ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our growing technology team. This individual will provide Tier 1–2 support for our internal users, manage identity and access workflows through Okta, and support IT operations through JIRA. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do:
 Provide day-to-day technical support to employees via chat, email, and ticketing
systems.
 Manage identity and access provisioning using Okta, including onboarding, offboarding,
and role-based access.
 Triage, track, and resolve IT tickets using JIRA, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
 Support company hardware (primarily Mac devices; some Windows support as needed).
 Maintain endpoint security, system configurations, and compliance standards.
 Assist with IT onboarding for new hires and maintain hardware inventory.
 Collaborate with IT and Security teams to improve workflows and documentation.
 Troubleshoot network connectivity, software, and account issues across cloud-based environment

What Cowbell needs from you:
Education:
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or
a related field.
Years of Work Experience:
 2–4 years of experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk, or Technical Support role.

Soft skills:
 Excellent troubleshooting skills across desktop and SaaS environments.
 Strong communication and customer service skills.
Technical Skills:
 Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, or Intune).
 Strong experience managing user accounts and groups within Okta.
 Hands-on experience using JIRA or a similar ticketing system for IT operations.
 Experience supporting macOS environments (Mac management, imaging, and
troubleshooting).
 Basic scripting experience (Bash, Python).
 Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO
27001, etc.).
 Experience with Google Workspace.
