About the Role

We’re looking for a founding Head of Customer Success to lead and scale our Customer Success team. This is a player-coach role - you’ll be rolling up your sleeves to support our most important customers while mentoring and developing a team of high-performing CSMs. You’ll be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion while helping shape the future of the customer experience at CoverForce.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead our Customer Success team, providing coaching, support, and strategic direction.

  • Act as a hands-on advocate for key accounts - building strong relationships, resolving issues, and identifying expansion opportunities.
    Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure a seamless customer experience from onboarding to renewal.

  • Analyze customer data and feedback to improve processes, drive adoption, and reduce churn.

  • Build the customer success playbook, KPIs, and reporting infrastructure.

  • Collaborate on upsell and cross-sell strategies with Sales and Marketing teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a related field, ideally at a B2B SaaS or fintech/insurtech startup.

  • 2+ years of people management experience - you’ve led and grown a team before.

  • Proven ability to drive renewals, reduce churn, and increase customer satisfaction.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

  • A builder mentality - you’re excited to create systems, processes, and culture from the ground up.

  • Experience working with insurance, fintech, or regulated industries is a plus.
