Head of Partnerships Description:

At Coverdash, our partnerships are the engines that run the entire business. With hundreds of partnerships ranging from enterprise collaborations to dynamic alliances with startups, we're looking for a Head of Partnerships to help manage it all. Coverdash is seeking an exceptional individual to lead and scale our embedded partnership team. If you're passionate about embedded partnerships, shaping the future of insurance distribution, fostering impactful collaborations, and leveraging your expertise to propel our mission forward, this role is tailor-made for you.

Responsibilities:

  • New Partnership Acquisition: Identify and secure new partnership opportunities aligned with the company's growth objectives.

  • Partnership Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute partnership strategies to coax out maximum value from our existing partnership network and implement them to new partnerships you & the partnership team forge.

  • Market Awareness and Relationship Cultivation: Stay on top of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes affecting insurance distribution.

  • Communication and Negotiation: Effectively convey the value proposition of Coverdash's insurance products to partners and negotiate partnership terms, agreements, and contracts to ensure mutual benefit for all parties involved. Prepare and present reports and updates to C-level executives, providing insights into partnership performance and strategic recommendations.

  • Building and Managing Partnership Team: Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing partnership team. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience working in a similar role

  • A comprehensive understanding of various small business insurance products, including liability, property, and workers' compensation, and the ability to tailor them for different industries.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing partnership strategies within the financial services or insurtech industry, with a focus on embedding insurance products in partner platforms.

  • Familiarity with the small business landscape and a keen awareness of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes affecting insurance distribution.

  • Strong ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with partner organizations to drive successful collaborations.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey the value proposition of the company's insurance products and negotiate partnership terms.

  • Comfortable preparing and presenting reports and updates to C-level executives, providing insights into partnership performance, key metrics, and strategic recommendations.

  • Proven track record in identifying and securing new partnership opportunities that align with the company's growth objectives.

  • Proficiency in negotiating partnership agreements, contracts, and terms while ensuring they are mutually beneficial for all parties involved.

  • Capability to lead and manage a partnerships team, fostering a collaborative environment to drive results.

  • Existing industry connections and a robust network of potential partner contacts in the small business ecosystem.

The pay range for this role is: $150-$250k plus a competitive equity package.

Coverdash is a Virtual First Workplace with an office location in NYC. This role can be based anywhere in the U.S as long as you can work our Coverdash core collaboration hours (9:00 am-5:00 pm Eastern Time).
