Certificial, the creator of the Smart COI NetworkTM, has transformed how insurance coverage information is shared between Agencies, Suppliers, and their Customers. We’re a fast-growing InsurTech seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping our product’s growth. This isn’t just about making things look good; it’s about designing intuitive experiences that drive onboarding, activation, and long-term engagement.

What you’ll do:

• User Research & Insights
  

• Conduct customer interviews and usability testing

• Product Led Growth (PLG)-Oriented Design
  

• Create onboarding, self-serve flows, and in-product nudges that drive activation and retention
  

• Design experiences that directly impact PLG metrics
  

• UX/UI Craft
  

• Simplify complex workflows into elegant, delightful, intuitive interfaces
  

• Deliver polished, user-friendly designs that enhance user experience
  

• Ensure consistency and scalability across the product
  

• Data-Informed Iteration
  

• Partner with product and growth teams to analyze user data
  

• Use A/B testing and analytics to improve user journeys
  

• Cross-Functional Impact
  

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams
  

• Align design decisions with business and PLG goals
  

• Design Culture
  

• Champion user-centered, data-driven design thinking
  

• Help build a strong design practice across the company
  

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of UX/UI/Product Design experience in SaaS.
  

• Experience with the Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) methodology
  

• Strong Portfolio showing impact-driven design, especially in PLG flows
  

• Strong research and visual design skills from discovery to final UI.
  

• Excited by metrics-driven design, improving conversion, reducing friction, and driving adoption.
  

• Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent).
  

• Thrives in startup environments: scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  

• Bonus: Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices
  

Compensation:

• This role will receive a competitive base salary, bonus, benefits, and options. The base salary range for US-based employees is $50,000-$500,000.
