Senior Data Analyst (Remote- US)

As we scale, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to own and optimize data quality, API integrations, and reporting to drive business intelligence and customer success.

As Senior Data Analyst, you will be crucial in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across our platform. You will manage API data flows, data hygiene, and internal and external reporting, working cross-functionally with Pproduct, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. Your insights will shape strategic decision-making and enhance the quality of our customer-facing analytics.

What you’ll do:

• Data Integrity & Hygiene
  

• Maintain and enforce data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of records.
  

• Develop and implement data cleansing processes to eliminate duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent data.
  

• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data transformation, aggregation, and validation issues.
  

• Integration Data Analysis & Management
  

• Work closely with engineering teams to manage, optimize, and reconcile data provided to Certificial from external sources via API integrations.
  

• Assist integration partners with data-related inquiries
  

• Monitor API performance, error handling, and logging, ensuring seamless data flow between Certificial and integrated platforms.
  

• Provide recommendations for scalability and efficiency improvements in API data workflows.
  

• Internal Business Reporting & Analytics
  

• Develop and maintain internal dashboards for key business metrics, supporting product, sales, and customer success teams.
  

• Analyze SaaS metrics (e.g., MRR, churn, retention, CAC, LTV) to provide actionable insights for leadership.
  

• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  

• Custom Customer Reporting & Insights
  

• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to develop customized reports and dashboards for enterprise clients.
  

• Create ad hoc data analysis to support customer requests related to API data, compliance reporting, and performance tracking.
  

• Identify trends and insights from customer data to enhance product offerings and user experience.
  

• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  

• Partner with engineering to ensure data integrity and cleanliness within integrations
  

• Work closely with product and sales teams to provide data-driven insights that shape strategic decisions.
  

• Collaborate with customer success teams to define reporting needs and improve customer data accessibility.
  

What you’ll bring:

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
  

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Zoho Analytics, or similar).
  

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data governance, cleaning, and quality assurance.
  

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with SaaS business models and data structures.
  

• Knowledge of CRM and customer analytics platforms (HubSpot).
  

• Understanding insurance, compliance, or fintech data ecosystems is a plus.

Compensation:

• This role will receive a competitive base salary, bonus, benefits, and options. The base salary range for US-based employees is $50,000-$500,000.
