Built Technologies is hiring a Lead Product Manager for our Payment Management team. You will be joining an all-star PM team and own a Built Payment Management (BPM) - a rapidly scaling new product focused on simplifying collaboration and flow of funds between Real Estate Developers, Contractors and Subcontractors, a SAM of $700M.

BPM is critical for Built’s strategy as it is our entry into building embedded financial services for the construction industry. While you’ll be focused on growing ARR for BPM in the short term, you’ll be responsible for envisioning, planning and delivering on additional payment and financial services use cases across all of Built’s products and services. As you drive BPM roadmap, and build new roadmaps for financial services, you’ll be paired with a world class engineering and product design team to bring your vision to life. Finally, you will partner with our Go-To-Market teams to ensure that customers adopt and love the products you create.

In this role, you will:

  • Work tirelessly to listen to and understand our customers – their challenges, problems and pain points – and invent solutions which they may not yet be able to envision for themselves
  • Own the roadmap for collaboration between Contractors and Subcontractors, as well as Contractors and Real Estate Developers, based on feedback from customers, internal brainstorms and competitor analysis.
  • Drive customer discovery, product discovery and industry/competitor analysis to identify new zero-to-one opportunities for payments and financial services in the construction industry. You’ll translate your vision into prototypes, prototypes into MVPs and MVPs into revenue generating products.
  • You’ll create and manage roadmaps for your area, with regular consultations with the exec team.
  • You will roll up your sleeves and get into details. You’ll often provide PRDs, manage execution from your engineering teams, ensure quality in delivery and prepare GTM plans.
  • You’ll be deep into data, instrumenting products you build, and making data driven decisions where possible. At the same time, you’ll exhibit high judgment when data is sparse.
  • Provide feedback on engineering designs and champion customer needs while driving hard implementation level trade-offs.
  • Be a core part of changing how the built world works through innovative products that make it easier, faster and more efficient to build

Who You Are:

  • Product Manager with 5+ years of experience in building products in innovative growth stage companies
  • Creative problem solver and a relentless prioritizer
  • Bring proven expertise in zero-to-one product building, from initial customer discovery to product design and delivery
  • Prior experience in the fintech/payments space. Preferably have launched payments/embedded finance products.
  • In the details, with strong technical acumen and analytical chops
  • Experienced in running strong PDLC practices
  • Strong cross-functional partner who builds trust through diligence
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Experienced in B2B SaaS product development and sales cycles
  • Preferably, you have background in real estate finance, construction or a similar domain
