Description

Bounce is hiring a General Manager to serve as the site leader for a new operations location. This leader will play a central role in launching the site, building the local leadership team, and scaling day-to-day collections operations to support the company’s continued growth.

Reporting to the SVP of Recovery Operations, the General Manager will be responsible for site performance, workforce leadership, operational execution, compliance adherence, and recovery outcomes. This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader who thrives in build-and-scale environments and is excited to establish processes, performance standards, and team culture from the ground up.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Lead the launch and ongoing performance of a new Bounce collections site, owning day-to-day operational execution and workforce performance.
  • Drive collections performance by monitoring recovery metrics, productivity measures, and operational KPIs, implementing improvements as needed. This is a hands on role, with a lean team.
  • Hire, develop, and manage site leadership including supervisors, team leads, and operational support functions.
  • Establish scalable operational processes, workforce planning strategies, and performance frameworks to support site growth.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to federal, state, and partner regulatory requirements, maintaining strong compliance and audit readiness.
  • Oversee day-to-day collections and settlement execution across assigned portfolios, ensuring recovery and customer experience objectives are met.
  • Manage operational coordination with legal, recovery, and vendor partners to ensure service levels and performance expectations are achieved.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, HR, Product, and Operations teams to improve workflows and operational outcomes.
  • Support site-level financial performance through headcount planning, productivity optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Build a strong, high-accountability culture focused on coaching, leadership development, employee engagement, and long-term retention.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in collections, servicing, or contact center operations, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing multiple teams or large agent populations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling call center or collections operations in high-growth environments.
  • Strong knowledge of collections regulations, compliance frameworks, and operational best practices.
  • Experience managing operational KPIs including productivity, recovery performance, workforce metrics, and quality scores.
  • Proven leadership ability with a track record of hiring, coaching, and developing frontline and leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical and operational problem-solving skills with experience implementing performance improvement initiatives.
