As a Financial Reporting & Corporate Accounting Analyst, you will be assisting both the Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting teams. You will be based in our Mexico City office. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in helping develop world-class processes to support our accounting and close functions while operating in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. We are looking for an individual who is excited to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrates strong communication skills, detail oriented, and a desire to learn and succeed.

How you'll contribute:

  • Responsible for detailed preparation and review of supporting work papers for data and disclosures contained in SEC filings, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of all financial disclosures
  • Acts as key preparer for the external / SEC reporting on Form 10-Q/K, Form-8K, and other required filings
  • Assists –Corporate Accounting team in executing the monthly close process, including monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Combine accounting knowledge, experience and critical thinking to problem solving effectively and autonomously
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and related Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements for the financial reporting and close process
  • Work closely with auditors in preparing supporting schedules, explaining accounting processes and G/L account activity
  • Provides support and assistance to both internal and external auditors in connection with the audits
  • Research, collect, manipulate, interpret and verify data
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
  • Demonstrate understanding of general accounting and internal controls
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, advanced level in Excel applications.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and adaptively, and take initiative to resolve challenges
  • Bilingual in English; written and verbal
