Job Overview

As a Supplier Operations Team Leader you will be an integral member of the AvidXchange Supplier Operations team. This role will be responsible for managing and developing teammates in one functional area of Supplier Operations. You will also serve as a liaison with internal and external customers, to include maintaining open and concise communication with regards to deliverable status and other inquiries

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Operations Associates ensuring SLA requirements are met
  • Present Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews to Leadership team emphasizing progress towards departmental goals
  • Work cross-functionally to drive enhancements for scalability and improve business practices
  • Drive efficient team environment by sharing best practices, maintaining a winning mindset, and embracing AvidXchange’s core values
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve various departmental goals and initiatives
  • Delegate work to employees, track progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Create and implement best practices and process improvements
  • Conduct weekly/monthly/annual team and one-on-one meetings to develop areas of opportunity and skill gaps

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Proven track record of success in driving team goals and supporting business
  • objectives
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of computer software programs including
  • Microsoft Excel and Outlook are required
  • Proven track record of process development and improvement

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • SalesForce experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or related field
  • Prior experience in Call Center environment a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to motivate, coach and develop team members
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Assertive in nature with a natural curiosity that can take direction as well as operate independently
  • Adaptive to frequent process changes; Change Agent
  • Ability to communicate to diverse personalities and learning styles
  • Passionate about developing others with a focus on competencies and professional development
  • May require a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
