Your role
We’re hiring an Implementation Lead to work with our Sales, Product & Customer Success teams to drive successful implementations of our payments & lending product for mid-market and enterprise customers. This is a role spanning pre-sales solution mapping, implementation design, and activation to create a best-in-class customer experience.
This role is all about speed, adaptability, and relationship-building. You're excited about the challenge of adapting flexible technology to deliver novel solutions. You can ingest huge amounts of information to deeply understand an existing process and quickly map out a solution that elegantly employs the full scope of our product, working closely with our technical teams to create solutions where none may exist.
You are as skilled at building relationships at the executive level as you are guiding technical teams towards concrete objectives and you work diplomatically across sales, customer success, product, and engineering to drive complex implementations from start to finish, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
You are energized when working fast - moving at anything less than top speed is boring.
Responsibilities will include
Objective #1: In your first 30 days, you will learn Ascend’s product and process from the ground up while attending all solution mapping and implementation design sessions with our sales team.
Objective #2: In your first 60 days, you will begin managing implementations for new customers, thoughtfully understanding their existing process and designing solutions using Ascend that allow them to take advantage of the full scope of our product.
Objective #3: In your first 90 days, and beyond, you will be the point person for all new customer implementations, working closely with training & account management to ensure a smooth handoff and implementation process, and working with product and engineering to guide new product development.
You might be a good fit if you are/have:
- 3-5+ years of experience in solutions/sales engineering, B2B (or B2B2C) fintech a plus
- Experience partnering with sales teams to design and implement integrated solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers
- Proven expertise using APIs-based solutions to bridge existing processes and tech stacks to the goal future state
- Thrive when multitasking and context switching
- Prioritize speed and accuracy when communicating
Base Salary Range: $120k - $135k
