As the Head of Community Banking sales you will work within our Financial Institutions vertical to identify and develop a strategic sales strategy for the Community Banking space. This role will start as an individual contributor, but will be laying the foundation and processes for the Community Banking group, with the potential long term opportunity to build out a team. This is a highly critical role that will launch the Community Banking practice and drive revenue growth within our Financial Institutions vertical.
You Will:
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and client satisfaction.
- Motivate and encourage the sales team to achieve and exceed goals.
- Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
- Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest tailored solutions to fit their needs.
- Excel and balance planning with execution, are very comfortable collaborating across numerous functions and stakeholders and managing change
- Promote the company’s products and services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Maintain a tech savvy perspective, staying abreast of current fintech trends.
- Ensure sales technology programs are optimized for business impact, and executed consistently and effectively, including deployment, maintenance, and measuring outcomes.
- Establish strong working relationships with sales leadership, operations, product, marketing, finance and other cross-functional teams.
You Have:
- 6+ years of direct sales in financial services, community banks or credit unions.
- Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
- Exposure to different enablement models mapped to different sales models (e.g. higher velocity vs. enterprise, direct and channel sales).
- An infinite passion for sales: you creatively find ways to make sales teams more effective and lead by example.
- Persuasive communication skills - you’re a natural storyteller, using data to back up your recommendations and getting cross-functional partners excited to help us deliver on goals.
- The ability to adapt between influencing leadership, inspiring those you empower to think big, and rolling up your sleeves to get things done
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software preferred.
Pay Transparency:
Salary Range: $121,000 - $151,000 (Base).
