Paid Acquisition Marketing Manager II | Acorns
Acorns is looking for a Paid Acquisition Marketing Manager II to join our team and drive customer growth. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment, overseeing key paid acquisition channels and driving high-quality subscriber growth through channel optimization, creative experimentation, and strategic testing.
This role has the option to be remote or based in our Irvine or New York offices.

Job Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Acorns’ paid acquisition channels, including Google Search & App campaigns, Meta, TikTok, and Apple Search Ads.
Improve channel efficiency through rigorous testing, performance analysis, and optimization.
Explore and test 5–10 new strategic growth opportunities to expand Acorns' acquisition channels.
Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, and Analytics to streamline processes and maximize performance.
Refine reporting and automation to improve operational efficiency and transparency.
Manage external agency relationships and oversee quarterly OKRs with clear growth goals and deliverables.
Lead the strategy and execution of paid marketing across owned channels, delivering against performance goals on time and within budget.
Build a high-performing, data-driven acquisition program that blends experimentation, customer insights, and creative strategy.
Collaborate closely with Creative to develop high-performing ad content and messaging at scale.
Ensure brand voice and identity are consistently reflected throughout the customer journey.
Contribute to a positive team culture, continuously learning and growing your leadership capabilities.

What You Will Bring to Acorns
4–6+ years of experience managing paid mobile user acquisition campaigns across Google and paid social (Meta, TikTok, etc.), ideally in financial services or subscription-based businesses.
Track record of exceeding performance KPIs through thoughtful optimization, automation, and creative testing.
A mindset of relentless experimentation and eagerness to discover new acquisition opportunities.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic modeling) and an understanding of A/B testing and statistical concepts.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
A collaborative spirit, hunger for learning, and drive to deliver measurable impact.

Compensation Information
The salary range for this role is $132,000–$155,000/year, with total compensation potentially including sign-on bonuses, equity, and discretionary performance bonuses. Benefits include 401(k) match, healthcare, and paid leave. Base pay is determined by experience, skills, and market factors.
If hired, this role is an at-will position and subject to compensation changes based on performance and business needs.
